Rachel Kaminetsky , PgDip Integrative Counsellor, BACP
I work with adults (18+), and with older adults (60+), on various issues such as anxiety, depression, life cycle and other transitions, relationships, spirituality and racial issues, and more. Yet perhaps what you are feeling or struggling with does not have a clear title or category. Perhaps a sense that something is a little "off", or could be better, is what is urging you to seek someone to speak with.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have experience working within charities and organisations, as well as in private practice.
I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space where you can freely explore the issues that are troubling you. Nothing is taboo. I am culturally sensitive and LGBTQ friendly. I would like to be the fellow traveller on your journey to feeling better, and to help you learn, evolve and be empowered to realise the better "self" within you.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
