Rachel Kaminetsky BACP - Counselling and Psychotherapy for Adults and Elders
Hello and welcome. I am Rachel and I'm a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor working with adults and elders, on various issues including anxiety, depression, life cycle and other transitions, relationships, spirituality and racial issues, and more.
As a culturally sensitive and LGBTQ friendly therapist, I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space where you can freely explore the issues that are troubling you. I am experienced in supporting individuals surrounding the aging process and the role of older people.
If you are feeling or struggling with something that does not have a clear title or category., or perhaps a sense that something is a little "off", or could be better, then please get in touch to see how I can help you to start feeling better, and to help you learn, evolve and be empowered to realize the better "self" within you.
I would be happy to meet you, and to build a relationship that will be nurturing and healing. I can also offer early morning sessions. (Please note: I offer phone or video sessions only).
Please call me on 01213 187464 or click here to send me an email.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have experience working within charities and organisations, as well as in private practice.
I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space where you can freely explore the issues that are troubling you. Nothing is taboo. I am culturally sensitive and LGBTQ friendly. I would like to be the fellow traveler on your journey to feeling better, and to help you learn, evolve and be empowered to realize the better "self" within you.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
