About me

I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Sunbury on Thames.

My approach

My therapy style is encouraging, open, and honest. My approach is warm and compassionate. I can draw from several core therapeutic approaches, so that our sessions are tailored to you.

My focus is to provide an environment for you to feel safe and comfortable to be able to confide without fear or judgement.  Through our work I hope you will be able to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the way you manage your difficulties so you can make positive changes moving forwards.

It remains incredibly important to me that you have the opportunity to just be, to sit with their thoughts and feelings and simply be heard.

What happens?

The relationship between the client and therapist is key.  Finding the right therapist for you can take time.  Does the way I work suit you? Do you feel comfortable with me and feel that you can trust me with whatever you wish to bring into the session?

It can take time to build up this type of relationship.

I do offer a free initial telephone conversation (15 minutes) to allow you space to ask any questions you may have and get an initial feel for whether we could work together.

All future sessions are, whether online by telephone or in person, last 50 mins.

I look forward to hearing from you, so that you can decide if I am the right therapist for you.
