About me

Hello there welcome to my profile - a little nervous, please don’t be. Feeling anxious or low in mood or both we all need help at times.

Like you I have been there, it’s a little daunting considering therapy. It’s a big step into the unknown journey. However, that’s exactly what it is a process between two humans. For me I believe the therapeutic alliance is the core of the therapy. Trust the process is a hard thing to do and the therapeutic alliance is trusting me to walk with you at your pace. There is no pressure or expectation from either parties.

A little about me.

Personally I have always been curious of others and the way the world is evolving. As for me I have had times when I've been stuck, felt low in self esteem and always been “seen as a confident person on the outside “- big shoes to fill all the time and with great expectations. However, through great work collaborating with other therapists and mentors this enabled working on myself after all the greatest and longest relationship is with ourselves. we have to be able to be acceptable of ourselves with kind love and compassion.

Collaboratively, I work with children and adults within an integrative framework meaning I use core values as the foundation these are unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence whilst pulling on CBT and other areas depending on the autonomy of you. I walk with you helping you to understand and grow with reflection on what’s keeping the vicious cycle repeating its self. Through trust, and being able to evolve in a safe space. I believe being heard and accepted are very powerful qualities in all humans. I am very proud and passionate of all my clients that have helped their selves flourish and grow.

I work from a safe space in Henley in Arden - location given on booking. I offer face2face, remote and telephone appointments lasting typically 50 mins. I am happy to offer a free 30 min appointment of meet and greet to see if you feel comfortable working together in away that suits you.
