About me

Hello my name is Rachel, I'm a down to earth girl, and have had many life experiences, that have helped me influence my choice in a Counselling career. I feel my experience within my own Family / Friends and training have helped me gain empathy and a greater understanding of people and the issues that occur in peoples every day to day lives. This has influenced me to want to support others in their time of need, and help to encourage self growth in a safe and confidential setting

I work together with the Client helping them explore the issues they are facing, and support them along their journey of self discovery in a non judgmental and safe setting

Understanding the Clients needs

From time to time in life, we may sometimes feel the need to be heard and understood without judgement. There maybe issues that we may struggle with, and perhaps feel we need to speak to someone who is not part of our every day lives, who can listen and help work through these issues within a confidential setting

Even though we may experience a similar situation to what others have, sometimes it’s hard to recognise it’s still a unique journey, and leads us to question our internal thoughts and frame of mind.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
