About me
I am a person-centred counsellor offering one-to-one counselling sessions either face-to-face, online or by telephone in Grange-Over-Sands.
Counselling sessions take place in a self-contained private office away from my home offering you total confidentiality. There is a small step at the entrance.
I offer a warm, safe and confidential environment in which you can share your private thoughts and feelings. Together we can explore the difficulties you are facing in your life, helping you to understand yourself better, find your voice and lead the life you want.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a person-centred counsellor and have an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Cumbria University.
I am a registered member of the BACP
I am also a listener with the Samaritans and to date have over 5 years of experience with them.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Single person Counselling sessions are £45 for 50 minutes.
Couple counselling is £50 per hour and £60 for 1.5 hours
The free initial consultation lasts up to 30 mins and is not a counselling session but a time we can explore what you would like from counselling and a good opportunity to see how we would work together. Feel free to ask any questions regarding this.
