Rachael Lashmar, PGDip, MBACP
I am a qualified and experienced therapist, helping people through many difficulties. Therapy is an individual experience and I adapt to the needs of the person in front of me.
My approach helps clients to look at worrying and difficult emotions in a safe, confidential environment. You may want to explore a particular problem or may be feeling overwhelmed by life pressures. I offer a professional objective viewpoint at a time you may find it difficult to talk to partners, family or friends.
As a counsellor I encourage you to talk about what is bothering you, helping to uncover any root causes of distress and identify your specific ways of thinking. Each session is tailored to you as an individual.
I work with a range of issues including, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, work or life stress and trauma.
If you are considering having counselling and would like more information of the service I provide then feel free to contact me on 07795 660400 or email me firstname.lastname@example.org
What to expect
Your first session may feel like a big step and we will use it to explore how we can work together. It will give you a sense of what counselling would be like. If counselling is right for you we will arrange a regular time to meet weekly.
