We all need to be seen and heard, to be known and accepted.
This is at the heart of my work with my clients.
Likewise, all parts and facets of ourselves need to be heard, and this too is central to my work.
I passionately believe that awareness in and of itself is transformative. Allowing consciousness to encounter parts of ourselves that are cast out is healing. Integration happens when we give voice to feelings that we have previously ignored or silenced, when we allow exiled parts to come home. We reunite with ourselves.
A nurturing relationship of trust is vital for change to take place. When clients come to see me they are guaranteed my undivided attention, my thinking heart, my warrior willingness to fight for them and my genuine presence. You can be assured that I will not judge you. I am here to offer you space to talk and be listened to, a safe space where we can sit together with whatever wants to be heard.
Sometimes life is challenging, we feel hurting, anxious and stuck. Often we feel that something very important is missing in us, we can't even name it, maybe a sense of aliveness.
In my work I have come to see how, with acceptance and careful listening, people can tap into their own resources and emerge with more clarity and connetion to their authentic self. This allows healing to take place.
If you are interested in personal growth and expanding your awareness, this process may be right for you too.
I was educated in Edinburgh University in the dialogue between Psycho-dynamics and the Person Centered Approach. This allows me a wide scope for adapting to my clients' particular needs.
Being open to other ways I am also passionate about Mindfulness as well as focusing on the 'felt sense', the wisdom of the body.
The unique nature of our encounter will inform me what will be the best road for us to take together.
