About me
My name is Pinar (Pin) and I'm a qualified, registered counsellor who's here for you when you're ready. My foundations are working in the Person-Centred Humanistic approach with a mix of self-empowerment coaching.
Let's face it, life can sometimes feel like absolute sh*t. In these moments It's okay to feel a mix of emotions whether it's anxiety, stress, sadness, numbness, anger, guilt, or even that fuzzy indescribable feeling where something isn’t right.
I'm here to be that friendly face to guide you through these times, offering a safe space where you can speak your truth without any judgment (swearing as much as you need to). Because I get it; sometimes it feels like we're climbing a steep muddy hill, and the idea of things getting easier seems like a far-off dream. But guess what?... You CAN do it! Taking that first step to reach out for support is like unlocking your superpower, and finding the inner strength and empowerment to make positive changes, one step at a time.
FREE ASSESSMENT:
I offer all new clients a FREE initial session which will last 30 minutes. During our initial assessment, we'll spend some time getting to know each other and finding out what you need from our time together. This is an opportunity for me to share how I work and for you to get a feel for how we would work together. At the end of our initial assessment if you would like to continue working together we will schedule your first full session at a time and date which is suitable for both of us.
If you would like to know more or ask any questions about counselling sessions or the assessment process please feel free to send me a message.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
