About me

HCPC registered and YA certified.

I am an integrative psychotherapist, breathwork facilitator and psychedelic integration therapist based in Brighton, UK. I have a warm and open nature and endeavour to hold you in a safe and compassionate environment so that you may deeply explore your journey to healing.

In psychotherapy we work to delve into the unconscious, to cast light on the darker aspects of being that might be causing us distress. When we are disconnected from our unconscious content, it can overflow into consciousness manifesting as anxiety, addiction, negative thought patterns, dreams or other forms of neuroses. By bringing unconscious content to the surface, they emerge for healing, as we can lovingly transmute them with the light of our awareness.

As an integrative psychotherapist I combine various skills and frameworks from my background in psychotherapy, breath and embodiment, and study of IFS (Internal Family Systems), transpersonal & archetypal ways of working to help you on your healing journey. My understanding is that just talking about things doesn't ignite change. There is a strong focus of embodiment and breath in my sessions, I see these as a gateway to access the inner world and supplement the psychotherapeutic process to enable a deep, experiential processing and release.

Training, qualifications & experience

My vision to awaken individuals to their own ability to heal has seen me train as a psychotherapist, breathwork facilitator and psychedelic integration therapist. In addition to my psychotherapy and breathwork training, I have CPD courses in psychedelic integration and transpersonal psychology. I have been personally practising yoga, pranayama and meditation for 10 years which while leading me deeper on my personal healing journey, has dramatically informed the way I work with clients. I seek to offer therapy that integrates all of my skills and training, that is grounded in compassion, with a focus on embodiment and considers archetypal, spiritual and transpersonal dimensions of the psyche.

Having worked in mental health in the UK for a number of years in both the NHS and private practise I see the need for a radical shift in the way society views and treats mental distress. I have spoken in conferences in the academic psychedelic communities and written a thesis about how altered states can be harnessed for healing, of both the individual, and the pathology-driven paradigm of psychiatric treatment. I have been teaching weekly breathwork classes since 2020, and facilitating both groups and individuals through deep conscious connected breathwork journeys.

Education:

  • MA Art Psychotherapy, University of Roehampton
  • Altered States: The Breath, The Yoga Alliance
  • Navigating Psychedelics for Clinicians and Therapists, Psychedelics Today
  • Transpersonal Psychology Diploma, The Centre of Excellence
