I am a qualified BACP accredited Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor, Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist specialising in working with men. I work combining Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Transpersonal modalities. I am currently only offering online counselling.
I am also an EMDR Therapist. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) was originally developed to help people suffering from PTSD. It is now also used for working with all kinds of trauma and is also effective for anxiety, depression, phobias and many other issues.
I specialise and have a specialist interest and experience in working with men and men's issues. I fully understand the pressures faced by men today and how opening up and talking about problems can be very difficult. There is a reason 8 out of 10 suicides in the UK are men, I believe this is because we as men are not talking about our struggles because of the tired old messages to 'man up' and 'boys don't cry', this leads to suppressing our emotions which can have devastating consequences.
I have worked with many people who have experienced low mood, feelings of anxiety and depression, stress, feeling totally overwhelmed by life, low self-esteem and problems in their relationships as well as many other issues.
I am also experienced in working with addictions including substance misuse and process addictions such as codependency. I have experience working in residential addiction treatment centres in Surrey and Centrel London where I delivered group therapy and one to one personal therapy.
We will focus on how having a healthy relationship with yourself will enable you to have healthy relationships with others. Helping a person practice self-love and self-care to establish healthy boundaries is a big part of the work I do so you can start fulfilling your potential and become more content in your life.
I am a registered therapist with AXA, Aviva, WPA and Vitality Healthcare Insurance Providers.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
