In order to be at our best, to be open to the world and take our part in it in a way that feels nourishing and safe, sometimes we need to make changes in our lives. I am a highly skilled counsellor that can help you to find direction, clarity and emotional stability. We can free ourselves from the self defeating thinking patterns, emotional responses and beliefs that restrict our ability to fully enjoy life.
If life can be difficult for you, if you feel negative and stuck, if you find it difficult to be in, or to maintain relationships, if you struggle to move forward and develop into the person you feel you can be then maybe taking a look at who you are and how you function, could be really helpful.
In our day to day lives it can be tough to slow down enough and really "see"how we are in the world. Through therapy we can begin to notice our reactions and thinking patterns and begin to understand ourselves differently.

I work with the Safe and Sound Protocol and can deliver it remotely and in person. The protocol is a cutting edge filtered music system that can support better emotional regulation, decision making, social engagement and emotional awareness.
I specialise in working with developmental trauma and single event trauma and generalised anxiety disorder.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Person Centred Therapist, practicing for four years with experience of working with adults and children, groups and individuals, I specialise in working with trauma.
I have substantial experience in both single event trauma and developmental trauma work, using a neurological affective relational model, I have experience with relationships, substance abuse, addictions, behavioural issues, anger management, developmental issues, conflict resolution and general mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, social isolation and self esteem, confidence.
I have no barriers to working with people, I embrace diversity and cross cultural access to therapy.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I offer a neuro affective relational therapy, focusing on the bodily sensations and feelings connected to the personal story, working with the here and now felt sense of experience and developing skills to aid emotional balance and wellness.

My fee is £65.00 per session. I am happy to have a free phone chat to describe the practical bits and for you to see if I'm a good fit for you.
All payments are to be made in advance of sessions.
I can take cash payments and bank transfers or we can talk about what works for you.
Flexible hours where possible, evenings and early mornings.
I work from S7 in Sheffield and from home in a quiet area in S36,there is always free parking and the therapy rooms offer a neutral inviting space.
I offer walking therapy, which involves walking in pre designated locations, which offer privacy and connection to nature, these sessions are usually planned during an initial first indoor session.
