About me

I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist, Supervisor, an EMDR Europe Accredited Clinical Consultant & Supervisor, a ACT therapist and have been an independent Chartered psychologist since 2003. I specialise in helping individuals regain their lives after being impacted upon by stress, anxiety, depression, injury or trauma. I enjoy working using a collaborative approach in a safe, calm environment with adults over the age of 18. I use an integrative style which draws on a mind/cognitive  and body approach. I also have been trained in Rational-Emotive Behaviour therapy (REBT), Mindfulness and CBT and integrate these within a Humanistic framework using what is most appropriate after consultation with yourself. I offer short, medium or longer-term work.

I am also a registered Occupational Psychologist and Coaching Psychologist and possess 20 years of business experience in a variety of sectors which means that I have worked with organisations and employees, understand the impact work can have upon mental health and provide counselling for this.

I also have experience in CAMHS providing individual therapy for young adults e.g. depression, anxiety, self-harm.
