Paula Gosling Diploma in Dip Couns, Dip CBT, Reg MBACP
Counselling service I offer is for anyone who is feeling dissatisfied with life or struggling with difficult emotions, such as: anxiety, depression, anger, jealousy, guilt or shame. This can result in pain and emotions that are overwhelming resulting in restricted activities.
Together in the sessions we will work to change your thinking patterns to change your present behaviours hence leading to a more balanced life.
This involves goals discussed that are manageable and achievable for you so a sense of pride is attained.
Some of the destructive behaviours can be over eating, addiction to gambling whether online or high street visits, alcohol, drugs, pornography or sex. I work with adults who are addicted to pornography and the assorted internet activities.
If you are struggling to cope with difficult life events, such as bereavement, loss or abuse or low self-esteem, lack of confidence exploring these emotions in our sessions will help to live a life that is more fulfilled and well rounded.
If you need anymore information of support please contact me, the details are on the site.

Addictions (Alcohol, Drugs, Exercise, Gambling, Shopping, Smoking, Sex, Pornography) are often support systems as a way of trying to get some kind of control in their lives. In our sessions we work together to understand how addiction leaves them feeling more out of control and the effect it has on their close and extended support system.
Relationships (Couple’s counselling, Issues around sex/intimacy) l work with the couple in the sessions to understand the difficulty and struggle to communicate with each other . They could be due to lack of intimacy or their daily/sex life. We will work together the options and reasons to change how they communicate and continue to change in their relationship.
Stress (Money, health, relationships, work)
Stress plays a massive role in our daily lives it could be due to a range of areas from work, relationships, money and/or health concerns and many more. These can cause a feeling of being overwhelmed leading to many health problems mentally and physically .
