About me

Asking for help isn't easy. Maybe you're not feeling like your usual self. Are you looking for the right person to help you? It can be hard, especially when you can’t logically understand what is wrong in the first place. A lot of people accessing therapy just want to know they aren’t going mad. They are conflicted. They experience feelings they don’t want to feel. They think there must be more to life than this. All this can be very overwhelming. Where do you begin? Searching for the right therapist can cause a lot of anxiety.

Well…you have found me.

I am a BACP accredited counsellor/psychotherapist and have been awarded this status as I have met the higher standard as a competent, ethical and independent practitioner.

I’m going to assume something has happened in your life and you feel like you want to stop feeling down or miserable. You may have tried talking to friends and family about your anxiety or relationship issues, who can be great for a shoulder to cry on but maybe you need something else. You may be making terrible decisions. You may be at the end of your tether. All these things are absolutely normal and part of life’s ups and downs. However, that said, the down parts of life can feel utterly miserable. You may want to run and hide. You may have tried “pulling your socks up” or “cheering yourself up” but none of the techniques have been helpful. You are still in that dark place and you want to know how to get out.

At this point, I highly recommend you ring me. Don’t leave it a couple of weeks to see if life just gets better. Do it now. What have you got to lose?
