Paula Conway - Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in the NHS and private practice. I trained at the Tavistock Clinic in London and held a Consultant post there for 10 years working with adults, adolescents and young people in care. I have extensive experience working with people who are struggling with depression, anxiety and relationship issues, as well as bi-polar disorder and more complex personality difficulties. I offer an in depth approach to address underlying patterns which can impact on work, relationships and emotional and mental well being.
In a safe and calm environment I will think with you about your concerns and work with you to make real and sustainable change in your life, working at a pace that is comfortable for you.
My practice is based in a tranquil environment with parking. You will need to drive to access this location.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1993 and as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in 2004 and have worked as a Consultant in the NHS, as well as for local authorities and in private practice for 20 years. I am trained to provide intensive psychotherapy from once to three times per week if this is needed.
I am currently registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council.
