About me

You are looking for a therapist either online or in your area. I can help you, I'm a Person Centred Counsellor and a Body Centred Psychotherapist. This means that I offer talking Therapy and also encourage you to relate to what is going on physically, in other words; connecting your mind and body. This can help you to tune in with your real feelings and get insight into what is holding you back or troubling you.

I like to help people who are facing challenges and decisions, who are stuck and need some support from a qualiified therapist to be able to move forward. I work with those who are dealing with chronic illness, bereavement and other life issues which affect our lives and hold us back.

As a human being we need to feel heard, seen, acknowledged and taken seriously. I know how beneficial Personal Therapy can be and I hope that it really shows in my Counselling Practice.

Sometimes it feels good to have a short chat by phone so that you can let me know what is on your mind and I can answer any questions you might have about myself or Counselling, then you'll know if I'm the one to help. I offer this service free.

I am taking on new clients so please go ahead and click on 'Message me'. I will contact you to either to set up a time for a short telephone chat or a first Counselling Session

After that we will schedule further appointments - usually weekly which we will review regularly

Sessions are available online, by phone and again Face to Face with the necessary safety measures in place.

I look forward to talking to you

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
