I have been working in private practice as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 2003. At present I work with individuals and with couples and offer supervision of counselling or therapy work.
Some of the areas I work with are anxiety, depression,
Generalised anxiety disorder, relationship issues and communication or if you're feeling sad or 'out of sorts'.
Amongst a diversity of presenting issues, have worked extensively with students and trainees from 18 to PhD levels as well as College staff. And with pregnant or new Mothers.
I am an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) an a senior registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I comply with their code of ethics, attend supervision and continuous professional development events regularly.
I have extensive experience in supervision with practising practitioners as well as trainees of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

MA Psychoanalytic Studies;
-Postgraduate Diploma in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
-Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies
-Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling. -Work experience at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Fondation Trust, Adult Directorate- Couples Department -Work experience at St Mark's Hospital, London - Specialist Bowel Hospital- in the The Psychological Medicine Unit
- extensive experience in working with students at all levels, from undergraduate to PhD (from 18 years up)

Having worked as a psychotherapist and in a consultative role within the Charity sector and as a psychotherapist in Private and the NHS sectors, I have many years experience of work in different set ups, as well as considerable experience in assessments and initial consultations. My interested includes , but are not only, anxiety and stress, bereavement and loss, self esteem, pre and post natal issues and cultural issues. At the NHS I worked with Couples and with the the relationship between emotional and physical conditions.

Other areas of counselling I deal with
I am experienced in working with Pre and Post-Natal areas and have a special interest in issues surrounding main carer/mother<-->baby bonding, the father's role in his children's lives and cultural issues.
I work with those who have experienced Miscarriage and/or Still Birth and with Loss and Bereavement.
I offer psychodynamic supervision for counsellors and therapists, individually or in small groups. Special rates available if you are about to or have just set up in practice.

£60 for individuals - 50 minutes session
£80 for couples- 1 hour session
The initial consultation/s is for 50 minutes for individuals and 1 hour for couples and the fees are as above.The fee for day time supervision is £45. The fee for the initial consultation can be settled by cheque or cash on the day.
I offer 3 reduced-fee day time sessions, depending on availability.
I work with adults from 18 years of age, face to face, open ended work or 12 weeks time-limited contract.
