In my role as a counsellor I have been blessed and privileged to meet and experience life changing moments with individuals, I believe we are all truly capable of achieving these moments through the counselling process no matter how difficult that may seem at the moment.
As an experienced counsellor I will work integratively allowing us to explore a number of approaches including Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Personal Construct Theory and Transactional Analysis.
What to expect in your first session -
I work one on one offering us a confidential, safe, comfortable and accessible space. I offer a genuine and accepting relationship where you are free to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours without judgement.
How can counselling help me? -
Our counselling sessions will be empowering, liberating and can be life changing, giving you the opportunity you to gain the confidence to make positive changes to uncover your full potential. The sessions themselves can be time limited or open ended to suit.
Working alongside each other we will work towards resolving any issues, thoughts and behaviours that are holding you back such as depression, addictions, anxiety, low self esteem, bereavement, abuse, anger management, self harm, low self confidence and relationship issues, OCD, panic disorders, family issues, phobias, feeling sad, anger issues and much more whilst in the process giving you a better understanding of yourself through self awareness.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information
As life is unpredictable, the road once travelled may be full of bumps and what we once thought was ok is no longer. So it is ok if you feel overwhelmed and ask for help its available whether you are a man or a woman of any age.
With the support of a counsellor we can help you to find ways to accept and make peace with the things we feel we can’t change, and make positive changes where we can. We can increase awareness that we do have choices in life and how to deal with troubles when they are affecting our lives in a negative way.
We are all individual wonderful complex beings and as such my role is to help you be the most wonderful you can be, thank you.
