Paul Spreadbridge - Adv Dip Psych, Adv Therapeutic Couns, Dip Supervision
I am an experienced qualified and registered counsellor and offer short term or long term counselling depending on the needs of the client. My practice is at Plymstock, Plymouth, with free car parking nearby. I am happy to see individual clients for either brief or short-term counselling.
I am an integrative counsellor offering the best approach for you which may be person-centered, cognitive-behaviour therapy or Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their strict ethical code of conduct. I have professional liability insurance and have an enhanced DBS. I am committed to on going professional development and regularly attend supervision as required by my professional body to hopefully assure you of the best possible care and attention. I am passionate about helping others and have had a varied working life including career in the medical services of the Royal Navy and the emergency services over many years and in the pastoral encounter of ministry.
I believe we all have the capacity to have good mental health and I am privileged to help you promote that and for this to take place in a safe and confidential setting. I look forward to welcoming you so that life can once again be meaningful and enjoyable.
