Thank you and I appreciate you visiting my page. I know it can feel daunting reaching out to talk to someone. Maybe you have questions about how counselling can support you or what counselling involves. Counselling is about how we can work together to create a save space to explore your feelings and experiences.
I am a warm, open and compassionate person centred counsellor. I can offer you a non-judgmental space to ensure that you feel valued and accepted. I believe that in this space you can develop a greater understanding of yourself and what you want to achieve or change.
I am a Level 5 qualified counsellor based in Glossop and offer person centred therapy. I also have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy and Life Coaching. I have experience working with a wide range of clients including children, young adults and adults with many different issues.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I follow their ethical framework, this ensures that I am working ethically and professionally. I also attend supervision and complete regular training and reading to ensure I am working am able to offer a high standard of support.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Areas of counselling I deal with
£40.00 per session
Free initial telephone or online session
I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation. In this session we can discuss what you are looking for from counselling and what the process will involve. Here you also get the chance to speak with me to see if you feel comfortable working together.
If you wish to work together the sessions will be 50 minutes in duration and will cost £40 per session. This can be agreed on a session by session basis or you can book a block of sessions.
All sessions are payable by bank transfer and must be paid at least 2 hours prior to the start of the session.
24 hours is required for cancellation of a session, otherwise the full fee is incurred.
Daytime and evening appointments are available Monday to Friday
