About me
Hello, I’m Paul, an Art Therapist with experience helping individuals heal and grow through creativity. Registered with the HCPC, I blend psychological theories with art theory to support you in exploring your emotions and personal narratives through conversation and artistic expression.
I provide a weekly confidential safe space where you can freely explore your thoughts and emotions through art and conversation. Whether you’re working with painting, drawing, or other creative media, my aim is to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself openly. Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity are essential to my practice, and I will honour your background and experiences throughout our work together.
My approach is client-centred and embraces practices such as Mindfulness while integrating techniques like visual storytelling to suit your unique needs.
I have experience working with individuals of all ages in settings ranging from schools and hospitals to community centres and charities.
Sessions can be online, face-to-face or a blend of both.
Training, qualifications & experience
- BA (Hons) Fine Art & Design
- MA Fine Art
- Msc Art Psychotherapy
I have extensive experience working in psychiatric inpatient, long-term care, and the third sector.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
