Pat Niccolls MBACP
Hello and thank you for contacting me. I will tell you about myself and my therapy practice.
I am an experienced counsellor and supervisor, working in many aspects of mental health. I work for several organisations. I am also a certified registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I believe that anyone can change if they want to. Through my therapy we will explore your thoughts and feelings and how this can affect your mental, physical and behavioural state and the consequences through this. The results can be life changing. Sometimes we can feel we have lost direction and so in therapy you can gain tools and insights to enable you to get back on track, give yourself choices to create opportunities when it may seem that there is none.
You will gain skills to manage stress, anxiety and unwanted behaviours and build confidence and self esteem. I facilitate therapy that is simple and easy to follow. I can also teach you Mindfulness Meditation which is excellent for many mental health issues. To learn to simply let go... not to believe everything you think.
I work office hours, Monday - Friday, with one late evening and Saturday a.m. per week, but this can be arranged when we discuss your session as this can be flexible.
Thank you for looking at my profile.

Supervision & training
I can supervise in many theoretical models for example:- Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Integrated Therapy (students or qualified counsellors). Supervision is a confidential working relationship in which the personal resources of the supervisor and supervisee are directed, in regular sessions, towards maximising the competence of the supervisee in helping clients. My supervision is to provide an attentive and supportive climate within which the individual can develop options for managing themselves and their work with greater satisfaction and effectiveness. We would do this by sharing the responsibility for the professional development of your skills, knowledge and understanding, consider responsibility for standards and ethics and provide opportunities for discharge and recharging of batteries. I beleieve in the importance of exploration, understanding and action being integral to all areas of a person's professional and personal development. I seek to provide a anti-discriminatory practice in nature and endeavour to ensure this commitment is reflected in the supervisory process.View supervision profile
