I provide confidential, one-to-one therapy sessions in Bloomsbury, Central London (WC1). My practice is 4 minutes walk from Goodge St underground station, 8 minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road station, and 10 minutes walk from Warren St, Russell Square, Euston Square and Euston tube stations. Lots of buses stop 2 minutes walk away. I also offer sessions through skype.
I’m an experienced, qualified and registered Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist based in Central London, WC1, specialising in working with eating and weight issues. I also work with people with diabetes or pre-diabetes. My professional registrations include: registered Psychotherapist with the BACP, Associate Fellow and Chartered Member of the BPS, and registered Counselling Psychologist with the HCPC.

I aim to offer an effective professional service by keeping my knowledge and skills up to date through undertaking regular training and continuing professional development. These include courses in psychological approaches to obesity, CBT for obesity, body-based psychotherapy, working with long-term health conditions, attachment, and affect regulation, and many other similar courses.
I practice according to the professional conduct and ethical codes of the professional organisations that I am registered with: HCPC, BPS, BACP.
I have worked extensively as a psychologist, psychotherapist, and coach across a wide range of contexts, involving charities, the NHS, local authorities, and private practice. I have also carried out psychological research for many years in universities and not-for-profit organisations, and have numerous publications. My clinical work and research focus on obesity, emotional eating, depression and anxiety, childhood neglect and abuse, parenting, attachment, and working with diversity. My additional roles as a consultant research psychologist, author, doctoral trainer and supervisor support my clinical practice.
