A warm welcome to Wiltshire Counselling.
Are you you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, suffering loss and grief, confused or depressed? Counselling and Psychotherapy can help you to identify where the root causes of your pain may be coming from. Often, being given the space to have someone listen to you, will make all the difference. Those first steps, deciding to attend counselling, can make you feel apprehensive. Congratulate yourself for wanting some change, or seeking some solutions in your life.
Sometimes, we can carry such a heavy load, not knowing where the root causes are coming from. You may feel confused or in a fog. Counselling can help you to put things in place. We will explore together in a confidential calm setting. You will not be judged. I will encouraged you to relax and be yourself. You will have the time to explore and come to your own conclusions. I will support you around your needs, at your pace. We will work together to find the best options to help you reach more clarity, informed choices and empowerment.
Are you unsettled with life due to unhappiness from your childhood? Have you suffered rejection/abandonment/criticism? So many unhappy feelings can result from trauma in our childhood, including attachment/abandonment issues.
Have you reached retirement age and perhaps thinking "what now" "what's left", "where do I go now" and maybe suffering from anxiety?
Are you suffering from loss and grief/bereavement? Has a family member passed away? Has a relationship ended?
Counselling is offered to victims/survivors of Domestic Abuse, Rape/Sexual abuse, Stalking and Harassment. The impact of these trauma's is overwhelming and has a vast impact on a person's life, including children's. As a victim/survivor of Domestic Abuse, a person's identity can be eroded, leading to confusion and not knowing who you are anymore. You may feel confused and fearful. Maybe you witnessed Domestic Abuse as a child!
I draw from my training and my experience, to help you along the road.
Please feel welcome to come and have a free initial 30 minute consultation, to discuss how you are feeling.

Feedback from Clients:
"First I want to thank you for agreeing to work with me. Seeking help takes time and is a whole process in itself - it is not easy admitting there is a problem, admitting you cannot solve it yourself, taking the initiative to find someone and then letting go and trusting in that person. You made me feel completely at ease and straight away I knew I was doing the right thing and things were going to get better."
"The confused 13 year old boy grew up feeding the wolf that shouted the loudest. The 49 year old has learnt to feed them both as they will always be there, but the bad must never be allowed to effect everybody and everything that really matters to me. Contentment is what I feel - thank you for helping me to get there."
"So Trish, my overall feedback is that you helped me realise myself and made me self aware. That is a real gift and it has given me choice, an ability to see things for what they really are and look for the good in every situation."
