About me

I am an integrated relational counsellor specifically trained to listen and use my skills, to offer support in helping you explore what is going on for you. And to find a way forward, without judgment or criticism in a safe and confidential way.

How Counselling can help:

Counselling can help by giving you the time to talk about what is troubling you, to explore this and support you to come to a clearer understanding of yourself and the difficulties you are experiencing. This can help with issues such as anxiety, depression, loss and relational issues.  Working together it can allow your problems to be thought through, and help you to find insight and clarity. Counselling can reduce feelings of distress and anxiety, increase self-awareness and insight, develop skills around managing stress and lead to important  positive change.

Alongside seeing clients privately I volunteer in a local GP surgery. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I adhere to the BACP ethical framework.

I provide a safe confidential space to talk, and offer weekly short term or long term support according to your individual needs.

I understand that making that first step towards asking for help can feel very daunting and difficult. If you feel that counselling could help you, please feel free to contact me by email or phone and we can discuss this more. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am fully qualified counsellor with a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling. I am a member of BACP and adhere to their strict code of ethics. I have regular supervision with a BACP accredited supervisor and I am committed to ongoing professional training as per the BACP guidelines, which can be viewed on their website
