My name is Pascale Lane (MBACP) and I am a Therapeutic Relationship Coach based in Sutton, Surrey.
I work with women and couples who need help with their relationships. So often, our own childhood experiences will inform how we connect with others as adults; our relationships with our partners, children, family and friends. Most of my clients get in touch with me because there is a problem in their family life that they need help with.
Whether you and your partner or loved one have forgotten how to communicate effectively with each other, or your goals and values have changed, I will work with you to help you reconnect, improve communication and rekindle your love.
Or maybe for you it isn’t about reconnecting with your partner or loved one. Maybe for you its about reconnecting with yourself. So often, women can lose their identity while they are so busy concentrating on meeting the needs of their family. Or maybe you are recently divorced or separated and are lacking in confidence or have forgotten what it is like to prioritise yourself. I will help you to remember who you are, set some goals, shift your mindset and find your Mojo so that you can be Happy in Life and Love!
I take great pride in the work that I do and love being able to support individuals and couples to facilitate change. As a Therapeutic Family & Relationship Coach, we will work together to identify your goals and work hard in a time limited manner to achieve them.
As a former social worker, Attachment based and Relate trained therapist, I combine all of my learned and lived experience to provide a unique stance on my practice, combining 20 years of social work background and life coaching skills to help you live the life you deserve.
The Three Pillars of my work are:
Childhood and Family history: This is where You began. Everything that you learned about love, family life, communication and conflict all starts here. It is where your self-worth begins and will have a considerable impact on how you 'show-up' in your adult life; as a wife/partner, mother and friend. Understanding this sets the scene for the rest of our work.
We also want to make sure that we are giving our children the best start possible. We are our children's greatest teachers and so the best way for them to be happy, confident and thriving, is for us to lead by example.
Communication: This is a huge issue for so many people and is an area that so many need to work on. We learn so much in or early years about how to communicate, whether our voice can be heard, how to demonstrate love and how to resolve conflict. When we are not communicating effectively, we don't give ourselves the opportunity to be seen, heard and valued. Learning to do this not only improves our relationships, but also teaches our children how it needs to be done.
Mindset & Confidence: Your mindset is what will set you free. This build on everything that we learn as children and young adults and forms our belief in who we are, whether we think we are 'good enough' and whether we deserve more for ourselves in any aspect of our lives. Understanding what is keeping you stuck or in a place of 'lacking' and really being clear in your understanding that the only person that holds you back is you and your frame of mind.
Working with these 3 elements is my strength and skill. Helping you is what I do best!

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
