Pascale Lane

My name is Pascale Lane (MBACP) and I am a Relate trained relationship therapist, Attachment based counsellor and life coach with 18 years of social work experience under my belt.

I work with individuals, couples and families who need help with their relationships. 

So often, our own childhood experiences inform how we connect with others as adults; our relationships with our partners, children, family and friends. Most of my clients get in touch with me because there is a problem in their family life that they need help with.

Whether you and your partner have forgotten how to communicate effectively with each other, or your goals and values have changed, I will work with you to help you reconnect, improve communication and intimacy.

Or maybe for you, it isn’t about reconnecting with your partner. Maybe for you it's about reconnecting with yourself. So often, women can lose their identity while they are so busy concentrating on meeting the needs of their family. 

Or are you recently divorced or separated and lacking in confidence, having forgotten what it is like to prioritise yourself. I will help you to remember who you are, set some goals, shift your mindset and rediscover yourself so that you can start the next chapter of your life with the spark and energy you have been lacking for so long.

I take great pride in the work that I do and love being able to support my clients to facilitate change. As your therapist, we will work together to identify your goals and work hard in a time limited manner to achieve them.

As a former social worker, Attachment based and Relate trained therapist and coach, I combine all of my learned and lived experience to provide a unique stance on my practice, to help you live the life and have the relationships you deserve.

The Three Pillars of my work are:

Childhood and Family history: This is where You began. Everything that you learned about love, family life, communication and conflict all starts here. It is where your self-worth begins and will have a considerable impact on how you 'show up' in your adult life; as a wife/partner, mother and friend. Understanding this sets the scene for the rest of our work.

We also want to make sure that we are giving our children the best start possible. We are our children's greatest teachers and so the best way for them to be happy, confident and thriving, is for us to lead by example.

Building Relationships: Not just with your significant other, but with you children, friends, family, colleagues… starting with the most important relationship of all… the one with YOURSELF.

We will explore your value and worth in relationships, how you set boundaries around your time and energy and how you communicate your desire, thoughts and frustrations.

Mindset & Confidence: Your mindset is what will set you free. This build on everything that we learn as children and young adults and forms our belief in who we are, whether we think we are 'good enough' and whether we deserve more for ourselves in any aspect of our lives. Understanding what is keeping you stuck or in a place of 'lacking' and really being clear in your understanding that the only person that holds you back is you and your frame of mind.
