About me

Hello and thank you for visiting my profile. I am a Psychodynamic Creative Counsellor and offer therapy in Brighton and online.

I feel passionately about mental health and think that everyone can benefit from having counselling, no matter where you are at in your life. I am a warm, open and honest counsellor and my aim is to help you to feel safe enough to explore your inner world.

I understand how difficult it can be to put thoughts and feelings into words, which is why I offer creative interventions to help you identify, describe and process what you are going through.

Some of the creative interventions I offer are:

  • Drawing and Painting
  • Sand Tray Therapy
  • Storytelling and Journaling
  • Mindfulness and Meditation
  • Breath work and grounding
  • Yoga

Psychodynamic counselling examines the past in order to make links with your present life. This enables change and helps you to really get to know yourself in a safe and nurturing environment.

Please do get in touch with any questions and if you would like to book a session.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

I am seeing clients face-to-face from my home in Brighton and offer Walk and Talk therapy. I think it's really important that you feel comfortable as a client. I have an outside area next to my counselling room so that if the weather is good we can sit outside and experience the fresh air. Being in nature can be very freeing and healing, which is why I offer this important resource for my clients.

I also work online and see people from all over the country this way.
