About me
I am an accredited specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) currently providing therapy remotely.
I have a vast background of work in a number of different mental health settings such as IAPT services, mental health hospitals, drug and alcohol services, private therapy services as well working with insurance companies.
I am a compassionate and empathic individual who is dedicated to truly understanding others without passing judgments. My passion lies in connecting with my clients on a deeper level and creating a non-judgmental environment and a safe space where clients feel heard and supported, and believe in the power of empathy and warmth in fostering positive therapeutic relationships and facilitating personal growth. I will work with you to understand your unique way of experiencing the world and adapt the therapy sessions based on the different types of difficulties you experience and bring into the treatment sessions. My aim is to help clients identify more helpful tweaks to their behaviours and thoughts, so that they start to feel better physically and emotionally. This means that clients will often learn lots of new skills and techniques that are applicable to their day to day life helping them manage negative emotions and experiences and feel more confident when dealing with conflicts.
Remote/telephone session allows for therapy to fit around your commitments and home life therefore my goal is to ensure that sessions are easily accessible and comfortable for you.

Further information
The first session is an initial triage to develop a clear understanding of the client's day to day difficulties and to discuss the client's expectations and goals for therapy. We will also discuss and confirm the client's details and session policies.
We will then agree on a set number of sessions. Sessions are usually flexible and tailored to the client's needs.
