About me

Are there times that life feels too difficult to carry on?
Are you angry, sad, or feel 'not worthy' often?
Do you feel confused as to who you are and what you want to accomplish in your life?

" When I first went to counselling, I only stayed two sessions, I didn't stick with it. When I came to see Pamela, something just seemed to fit. I would say Pamela probably
knows me better than anyone now. At first, I held back, didn't let her in, I don't trust many people, but then I began to realise that I could say whatever I wanted and it was OK.

Pamela made me see that it was OK to cry and laugh at the same time, that I could be angry or happy, or sad or cry. She made me see that it was OK to not be OK. I thought that I had to have someone to always look out for me, that I needed someone to always have my back, but working with Pamela, I've seen that all I need is me. I'm stronger now. I'm moving forward and leaving the things I don't need, behind me. "

Age 40 Female -  L

" Counselling has changed my life. I thought I was too old to change. I thought it was too late for me. Pamela showed me things that I believed about myself, and then helped me to realise that they weren't true. That they were programmed into me from a young age.

Counselling is the best thing I have ever done. I feel like a different person. I am a different person. I'm now a better dad to my kids. I'm happy. "

Age 47 Male - C

It is common to experience feelings of anxiety on a day to day basis, but when these feelings become overwhelming and too difficult to deal with, it is always better to ask for help.

As a counsellor I work in an integrated way with my clients. This means I work in a way that best suits my client and the problems they are dealing with.

On first contact, I will reply to you either via email or if you have left a telephone number, I will call you to discuss the issues you are dealing with and to arrange an appointment.

You will be offered a free initial meeting to see if counselling feels right for you at this time.

You may be dealing with feelings that have just come up for you or possibly a burden you have been carrying for some time. From anxiety and depression to relationship issues, sexual identity, abuse and break ups, all these issues and more can be explored in counselling.

I provide a safe space for you to unload your issues. You do not have to deal with this alone.

Listening to your problems in a confidential, understanding, non-judgemental manner allows you to open up freely. To know you are truly being heard by someone will help relieve you of having to carry this problem alone.

Training, qualifications & experience

I work with individual clients with various degrees of issues, anger, anxiety, depression, sexual orientation, eating disorders, grief, loss relationships. The one thing I realise; every single client is different, is an individual and needs specified help.
