Pamela Kibblewhite MBACP.DIP Counsellor/Psychotherapist
About me and how I work
I am a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor with many years of experience and would like to offer you a Free consultation session to give you the opportunity to meet and decide if we can work together and begin our therapeutic relationship. I believe it is important that you the client feel comfortable to work with me. I offer both short term and long term counselling which very much depends on what issues you want to focus on.
Psychodynamic counselling focuses on unconscious thoughts processes which manifest themselves in a client's behaviour. The approach seeks to increase a client's self-awareness an understanding of how the past has influenced present thoughts and behaviours, by exploring unconscious patterns. Counselling provides an opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings in a confidential and safe environment, without fear of being judged.
In the counselling relationship, I will work with you to help increase awareness, recognise, and seek to change these unhelpful patterns.
