About me

I am a registered member of the BACP and a qualified integrative practitioner, which means I am trained to offer Counselling using a variety of approaches, depending on your individual needs. I believe that everyone is unique and what works for one person may not work for another, so I am happy to be able to offer a bespoke service.  I have worked with people who have experienced high levels of distress and trauma, and dealt with issues ranging from family/relationship problems, men and women who have suffered domestic violence, those who have low self-esteem and those who have experienced anxiety and depression.

There are times in our lives when talking to friends or family about our problems may not feel like the answer. Sometimes they might even part of the problem. For some of us it might be one particular issue that leaves us feeling lost and helpless, others may not know exactly what the problem is, but they 'just don't feel right'.

As a Counsellor I can offer a safe and trusting space in which to discuss those issues in a confidential and non-judgemental way. My job is not to solve your problems or tell you what to do, but to help you find ways to work towards your goals so that you can find perspective and work towards a solution.

I appreciate it can be a daunting task trying to find someone you feel you can talk to and am happy to offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation so you can ask any questions you may have.

I have use an office space on Oldham Road near Park Cakes bakery.

I want counselling to be affordable for everyone, though my costs have increased due to an increase in the cost of Room hire.

I charge £35 per 1:1 session but would look to offer a discount for those who may find the cost prohibitive.
