Emotional issues can feel complicated, contradictory and confusing. We can feel hijacked by feelings like anxiety, fear, anger and depression, to name but a few, which can leave us feeling overwhelmed, not knowing what to do.
Even though it can feel scary, could talking help?
I work with both couples and individuals and am interested in people and their stories. I aim to create a safe space where you can be heard. Through talking we can start to understand something about what is going on and then look at what might help you move forward.
I also work with those who, as children, were sent away to boarding school. I can work with you either as an individual or as part of a couple.
I'm trained as a Gestalt Therapist and Couples/Relationship Counsellor and have been working with both couples and individuals since 2010.
I welcome people with diverse histories, experiences and identities, including those from minority groups.
Gestalt Therapy is a holistic, compassionate way of learning to get to know yourself, your thoughts and your feelings and from there choosing what feels right for you whether it be the same as you do now or something different.
My fees per hour are: Individuals £40 and Couples £50
I am well supervised by two qualified, experienced supervisors – they enable me to do the best I can for my clients. I also attend various Professional Development courses to keep me up to date and expand my knowledge.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
