Orit Brenholtz Oren MBACP (Accred), HCPC, M.Sw Bridges Therapy Centre
I am a Clinical Social Worker (HCPC registered) and a registered psychotherapist (BACP accredited).
I specialise in working with individuals (children, adolescents and adults). Over the years I gained vast experience helping people cope with different life difficulties: bereavement, traumatic experiences, domestic crisis, physical disabilities and emotional challenges and more. I am also experienced in treating anxiety disorders including specific anxiety (phobias), panic disorders, social anxiety, separation anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and generalized anxiety.
I am trained in various therapeutic approaches, mainly using cognitive behavioural and psycho-dynamic theories which she tailors to each person’s needs.
Over the last 15 years, I worked in different professional settings and organizations. Among those, an adolescent emergency shelter for teenage girls and in an anxiety and psychosomatic unit at a Mental Health Centre.
I strongly believe that the non-judgmental environment allows therapeutic interpersonal processes to occur.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
