About me
Hello, my name is Kellie and I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I work online and via phone with clients who are seeking help and support. I am passionate about helping people find hope, healing and peace within their lives and their relationships.
I'm really glad you're reaching out and I understand that life's challenges, especially those related to anxiety, depression and neurodiversity, can sometimes feel overwhelming. But I encourage clients to embrace the process of growth one step at a time. By drawing from a wide range of methods, including person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural techniques, and mindfulness practices, I can help you address emotional struggles, build coping skills, and promote personal growth at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can uncover the insights and strategies that will help you move forward, step by step, toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
When the time feels right for you, reach out to have a free 15 minute consultation with me to talk over how I can possibly help.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
As a counsellor, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals through bereavement and complex grief. My goal is to provide a safe space for them to process their emotions and navigate the overwhelming feelings that come with loss.
Grief takes many forms and affects everyone differently. Whether it's the immediate pain of losing someone or lingering emotions over time, I've seen how each person's grief journey is unique. Complex grief, in particular, requires patience and a tailored approach. Helping clients who struggle to find closure or deal with unresolved issues has been both challenging and rewarding.
In my role, I provide one-on-one counselling to help individuals explore their feelings, understand the impact of their grief, and find coping strategies that support them in moving forward at their own pace.
Additionally, I have over 18 years in primary education and as Deputy Safeguarding Lead, I've seen firsthand the mental health challenges educators face, including anxiety, depression, and burnout.
I've gained insights into neurodiversity, understanding how it affects students and staff. My work with Place2Be has deepened my understanding of teenage mental health, and working in a hospice has expanded my empathy for those dealing with grief.
These experiences shape my approach to mental health and well-being, and I'm passionate about supporting both staff and students, prioritizing mental health, and fostering an inclusive and compassionate environment for everyone.
