About me

The quality of the relationship with a therapist can be a healing factor in facilitating change and growth within our life in the same way that early relationships and experiences impact on our present ability to find contentment and peace. I invite you to get in touch to book a phone conversation with me. This will be an opportunity to ask any questions, to discuss practical matters and it will help you get a sense of whether you would be comfortable working with me.

You may be turning to therapy with a specific issue in mind: feelings of loss, loneliness, anxiety or shame. You may simply be experiencing a vague disenchantment with your current situation. I am a warm and thoughtful integrative psychotherapist who aim to bring the appropriate mix of challenge and support to my work. I will work alongside you in a safe and supportive atmosphere to help you find a new sense of clarity, enthusiasm and confidence in your life. Together we will look at your unhelpful or outdated patterns of behaviours to make way for renewed energy towards cherished long-term goals.

As a qualified Arts psychotherapist, I believe in the healing power of the arts and and in their potential to greatly deepen our work together. No prior experience or artistic skills is necessary for this approach and soon you may find it a great source of support in the process of expressing your feelings and of deepening your self-awareness.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Masters degree in Integrative Art Psychotherapy from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, awarded by The University of East London.  I am a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), abiding by their codes of practice and ethics and standards of continuing professional development.

I have a solid experience of providing group and individual Psychotherapy for an NHS trust, for a London based non-for-profit organisation supporting people living with HIV and for a London Homeless charity. I am committed to working inclusively with individuals of different cultures, genders, sexual orientation and age.

Originally from France, I have made this great city of London my home for the last 25 years. I have a Masters degree in Art, Design and Visual Culture and previously worked in Product Design.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
