About me
I’m Ollie, a non-binary integrative therapist working in North London.
I offer a calm, open space for you to explore yourself and what’s going on for you. You might want to look at a specific issue you’re experiencing or use the space for broader self-exploration.
I draw from humanistic and psychodynamic approaches in my therapy. My practice is relational, and I believe that the dynamics that come up between us play an important part in gaining an understanding of yourself and your place in the wider world.
I have particular interest and experience in gender, sexuality (including relationship orientation and kink) and neurodivergence.
I work in Stoke Newington, where we would normally see each other once a week for 50 minutes, at the same time each week. I offer fixed-term (blocks of 12 weeks) or open-ended work.
I value flexibility, and foreground accessibility for myself and for my clients. Our sessions could involve us sitting in chairs angled towards one another, but it doesn’t have to - I believe this work is done best when everyone involved is comfortable, physically and otherwise, and that could mean moving around, looking somewhere else, or taking different approaches at different times. It might also mean a different structure from weekly sessions - that's something we can discuss.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling from CPPD. For the past three years I have worked for an organisation offering low cost therapy to LGBTQ+ people.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I offer a free initial 15-minute phone call, or a reduced-price first session (£40). These are intended for us both to see if we would like to work together. In a first session we might go into a bit more detail about what brings you to therapy, your previous experiences with therapy and your support network. It’s an opportunity as well for you to ask questions about what our work together might look like.
I also offer lower-cost sessions when possible.
