About me
Hello,
If you’re feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, burnout or past trauma, know that you don’t have to navigate this alone.
Life’s challenges—whether they stem from relationships and family struggles, self-esteem, body image concerns, addiction, or workplace stress—can leave you feeling lost, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. But healing is possible, and you deserve support.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, process past wounds, and reconnect with your true self.
My approach is compassionate and tailored to your unique needs, helping you develop the tools to manage overwhelming emotions, set healthy boundaries, and build fulfilling relationships. Together, we will uncover the root causes of your struggles, work through negative thought patterns, and help you cultivate greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and resilience.
Healing isn’t about fixing what is “wrong” with you—it’s about rediscovering your strength, reclaiming your voice, and moving toward a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling. No matter where you are on your journey, I am here to support you with kindness, understanding, and evidence-based strategies to help you create lasting change.
You don’t have to do this alone—I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified and registered BACP Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with extensive experience in the Justice system and knowledge in Relationships and Codependency, Substance Misuse, and 12-Step Recovery.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic models—such as person-centered therapy, psychodynamic, CBT —I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs.
My practice is deeply trauma-informed and healing-centered. I help you understand the root causes of trauma, exploring how it impacts the mind and body, and how it disrupts the nervous system.
Trauma can disconnect us from ourselves, often pushing us into a state of constant fight-or-flight. For individuals impacted by racial and ethnic trauma, discrimination due to disability, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, the cumulative effects on physical, mental, and emotional health can be profound. Through healing-centered, social-justice-oriented yoga and mindfulness, we work to uncover how trauma has affected you, building a deeper understanding of how healing can progress and restore connection.
Additionally, I integrate creative methods such as imagery, stories, dreams, and objects to reach parts of ourselves that are often hard to access through conscious thought. These creative approaches can reveal hidden or repressed aspects of self, leading to greater freedom, wholeness, and well-being.
The focus of my work is always on what best serves you, fostering a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly safe, supported, and understood.
Research shows that this is the key ingredient to successful therapy, and I am here to walk with you every step of the way.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Taking the Next Step:
If you feel I might be the right therapist for you, I’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to call or email me to arrange a session.
I also offer a free 15 minute introductory call, which can be easily booked through the site if you prefer to get a sense of how we may work together before committing to a full session.
Once you decide to proceed with regular sessions, we’ll agree on the start date, time, and location (whether in-person or online), and I will provide further details about how our sessions will unfold. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is priced at £70-£75.
The duration of therapy is flexible, depending on your needs and goals, and we can discuss whether short-term or long-term therapy would be most helpful for you. I welcome clients looking for both types of support, and my aim is always to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered as we work together toward healing and growth.
I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey.
