It can be a relief to have a safe space to speak honestly about your feelings and experience. I provide a confidential and non judgemental space to support you with painful and difficult experience and symptoms. Your needs and aspirations for therapy can be explored at the outset, before deciding to embark on a course of therapy and for how long. The duration, pace and method of your counselling or psychotherapy will reflect your needs. I work with a respect for the uniqueness of each individual and the creative unfolding of each person's life.
I consider the whole person, their life and background. Breakdowns, psychological problems, crises in relationships or work, bereavement or illness can be the way life initiates profound change. There is value in both brief and long term work, although for changing deeply stuck patterns, or dealing with severe trauma, long term work is usually required. The path is rarely a direct track, it’s a soul journey. In a therapeutic relationship built over time, a new sense of self and new possibilities for connection to others and the world can emerge.
I practice depth psychology, which consists in exploring patterns of behaviour, unconscious processes. I am experienced in working with trauma. Working with dreams, body awareness, using creative expression, and being in nature are methods that can resource the process of feeling more at home with yourself, your feelings and the world. Our personal life and experience also exist within social, cultural, political, spiritual and ecological worlds. In a longer therapy, we may explore these social dimensions and our shared connection or disconnection from them.
I welcome the diversity and difference of human experience.

I offer reflective supervision as a safe space for creative thinking. Support for teams, people in leadership roles, or anyone wanting a space to think creatively or explore difficulties about their work.
