North Surrey Community Counselling Partnership (The Counselling Partnership)
Walton On Thames
The Counselling Partnership is a friendly and professional service accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). We provide 1:1 counselling at venues in Woking, Cobham, and Walton-on-Thames.
We offer low cost counselling for up to a year to address a range of difficulties including; depression, bereavement, anger, stress, abuse, anxiety, loss, phobias, post-traumatic stress, relationships, self-esteem, trauma and work or carer related issues.
Please contact Karen, the administrator, who will explain the process of matching up with one of our 20 or so professional counsellors.
We ask for a minimum contribution of £25.00 to cover the charity's costs for the one off initial appointment. We have a Contribution Assistance Scheme for clients who would struggle to meet that cost, and this Scheme is something clients can ask about at any time during their time with us.
Our counsellors have a certificate of competence and volunteer their time. Each counsellor is DBS checked and carefully selected before he or she can work for The Counselling Partnership. All counsellors are supervised to make sure we provide a completely professional, appropriate and ethical service.
Training, qualifications & experience
Our counsellors are either fully qualified, or have at least two years training and are working towards further qualifications.
