As an integrative therapist, I work with my clients in a flexible, holistic and collaborative way.I am one of relatively few qualified and experienced counsellors/therapists in the UK with specific training in the application of mindfulness to therapeutic work.
I offer you a safe, confidential and pleasant environment in which to explore and resolve the issues that bring you to therapy and I draw on a range of resources to meet your individual needs.
As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I offer CBT from a Mindfulness perspective, Person-Centred Therapy and Solution Focused Short Therapy. I also offer one-to-one Mindfulness training and 8-Week group courses in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
I offer EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), which is a fast-evolving treatment within the field of Energy Psychology and is a particularly helpful approach in working with deep seated emotional blockages and in resolving past trauma and PTSD, where talk alone is often not sufficient.
I now view the most difficult and painful times in my life as precious times, since they were the essential catalysts for change, for deepening self-awareness, for healing, for growth, for falling awake into my life.
I hope that when you come to work with me, it may prove to be so for you too.
