Are you suffering with anxiety, depression or having difficulties in your life? Are you looking for counselling for a child, young person or yourself? I am a experienced counsellor who is happy to work in your home, in your school/college or from my private practice.

Children - Anxiety, School difficulties, Working towards diagnoses & Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger's).
As a qualified and experienced counsellor, I have worked with many people from all different backgrounds, I've witnessed them find new hope and positive change through the counselling process.
I offer a confidential and non-judgmental professional service where a person can explore the issues that matter to them within their life.
I am trained in integrative counselling, which means that I draw from a range of approaches to provide the right support for each person. The number of sessions required will vary from person to person, I offer both short term therapy, which is about six sessions and more long term or open ended counselling. In my experience the importance of reviewing regularly with each person as to how the counselling is going is an essential part of the process. "I believe that you have the answers within and I will use various skills to support you in moving forward"
My private practice is in a quiet and private setting in Wickford, Essex. There are no parking restrictions.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I abide by their ethical frameworks. I also have full professional indemnity insurance and I'm committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
In my counselling service, I aim to give you an opportunity to think and talk about what’s going on for you, to understand more about why you are feeling as you do, and to support you to find your own ways forward in the situations that you face whether this is in your current situation or from past memories and experiences.
Understandably, finding a counsellor can sometimes be a daunting experience so please be assured of a sympathetic response if you get in touch with me.

Private work can be a flexible arrangement to meet our work together and I offer short and long term sessions depending on the Initial assessment and the needs identified.
Initial assessments may take 1-2 sessions. As a professional, together we will see if the service I offer is the way ahead or how I may help you to be referred to the appropriate service enabling you or your child to move forward in life.
Initial assessment from £40 per session (60 minutes) from private practice.
Adults and young people £40 per session (50 minutes) from private practice.
Initial Assessments and 1:1 counselling in Schools, Home & Colleges will be assessed according to need, from £50.
My fees are negotiable in certain circumstances. Reduced rates can be discussed for students, senior citizens and individuals on low incomes.
Cancelled sessions are expected to be paid for, in full, if under 24 hours notice is given.
I will endeavour to offer an alternative day/time in the same week if possible, so as to provide continuity of the therapeutic relationship.
