Warm welcome to my practice!
My practice offers life coaching, mindfulness, counselling, psychotherapy and psychology services in various locations and remotely. To facilitate this, I trained in all four major schools of thought and I gained theoretical and practical experience in a large number of modalities exploring the wonders of the mind.
I absolutely love my work and I continue to feel excited every day meeting people and searching together deep into our human nature.
Listening to stories and hearing at times even what is left unsaid is magical. Sometimes we celebrate achievements and happy moments, and other times we talk about our struggles, all part of this continuum of experience between the joy and sorrow of life.
Our struggles take many shapes from dilemmas, conflict, distress, loss, uncertainty, insecurity and despair to illness, betrayal, fear, shame, disappointment, guilt, envy or loneliness, to name just a few. Some are transient, but others conceal significant crisis points in life, which very few will overcome with intense energy and creativity, whilst many will experience as times of dread and pain.
It would be so simple if we could just move out of that negative experience, but denial, procrastination, various distractions or self-medication deal with the issue at a surface level. To tackle what is at the bottom involves awareness and acceptance, and requires change, which we people tend to oppose. But then I see that change occurring and the person next to me feeling relieved and at peace, and that is undeniably thrilling.
What happens in between is a flow of interaction between two people united in searching for the difference between the world and our perception of it, that subjective perspective that prevents us from attaining awareness and enjoying the fullness of living.
This process stimulates self-knowledge and inner awakening and leads to new possibilities of choice and action. It is ultimately a process of healing that feels liberating. I see it all the time and I am still amazed of how powerful it is in our lives. I am here for you when you are ready to feel that too.
About my background...
I’ve started my career with a degree in Psychology that offered me a foundation of the theories of human development.
My work as a clinical psychologist in an end of life clinic was a unique experience which raised many inquiries around human existence and our purpose in life. At about that time I started to become interested in spirituality and religions and I explored various practices like hypnosis, meditation and mysticism, which led in an organic way to greater understanding of the healing traditions around the world.
Later on, working with severe mental disturbance was a challenging experience which helped me expand my knowledge in psychopathology, but also made me reflect on the efficacy of pharmacological treatment and prompted me to search for alternative therapies.
In my search, I gradually distanced myself from the medical model and I started to look at health in a holistic way, considering physical fitness, spiritual harmony and psychological comfort. Steadily that helped me develop interest in wellbeing and wellness and led naturally to psychotherapy.
I qualified as a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and then I undertook a course in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. Years later I embarked on a course in Integrative Hypno-Psychotherapy & Mindfulness accredited by UKCP and then I undertook studies in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling accredited by BACP.
I am also a member of BPS and CNHC, I am dedicated to continuous personal and professional development and I follow the code of ethics of all professional boards I am registered with.
Throughout the past decade living and working in London with a large variety of people I developed particular interest in difference & diversity. I find the amazing vibe of a multi-cultural environment stimulating and I feel passionate about being with people and privileged to be able to go along with them in their journey of growth and enlightenment.
