About me

Through the therapeutic process, clients are free to explore their experiences at their own pace, to feel truly seen and heard, while gently bringing awareness to parts of their life and personality and reconnecting with their own inner resources.

In my practice, I am sensitively alongside my clients as they engage in the courageous work of processing, feeling, and understanding difficult emotions and life experiences. I support clients by holding a kind, curious, and compassionate space conducive to healing, while offering reflections and insights with care and sensitivity.

I am a Person-Centred and Pluralistic psychotherapeutic counsellor, trained at the Metanoia Institute, and currently undertaking further training in Psychosynthesis at the Alef Trust. My approach integrates humanistic and transpersonal perspectives, alongside contemporary understanding of trauma, embodiment, and human development.

At the heart of my work is a sincere intention to support you on your journey of self-actualisation and self-realisation - helping you live a more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have offered my services across a variety of mental health settings, including the NHS, further education, and the third sector. This has included work with organisations such as the Tavistock, North Camden Recovery Centre, Mind, New Citizens' Gateway, the National Autistic Society, and Capital City College.

Qualifications:

  • First Class BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Pluralistic Counselling (Advanced Practitioner) - Metanoia Institute
  • Foundation in Therapeutic Skills - Metanoia Institute
  • I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
