About me

* Currently working online and via the phone only - due to Covid 19

I am a compassionate, well qualified Counsellor, with further training in delivering services online and via the phone. I work on a long term or short term basis predominantly, although by no means exclusively, with clients experiencing anxiety/panic, stress, loss & low mood.

What to expect: a confidential, respectful, non-judgmental, non stigmatising space to explore whatever is going on for you in this moment.

My counselling practice: working mostly from the person-centred framework, grounded in mindfulness & present focused.   My practice is trauma & neurobiological informed. I tailor therapy to suit your specific requirements. I work holistically with mind, body & heart ~ in a manner that empowers you to reclaim yourself, your life and your own unique potential.

Accessing Online Counselling:  you will need a quiet, safe space where you won't be disturbed for the duration of the session (1 hour), a stable & secure internet/wifi connection, along with one of the following: lap top, smart phone, computer or tablet.

Phone Counselling: counselling is also available via phone.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
