About me

Are you suffering with anxiety or stress? Are you feeling low all the time and can't shake it off? Are you having relationship issues? I can help you feel calmer and able to manage your anxiety. I can help you make sense of the things that you are finding it difficult to cope with. If life becoming difficult to manage talking to someone in a safe, confidential environment can help you.

At Inner Vision Therapy, I offer you a unique blend of counselling and hypnotherapy. Face-to-face counselling can help you make sense of the way you are feeling and help you find ways to move forward. From my personal experience and from my 5 years experience of working with clients, I know that talking with an experienced therapist really helps, especially if you feel you haven’t been truly listened to before.

However, you might have a very specific issue that is causing you distress and in this case hypnotherapy can help you change how you think and feel about the situation and yourself, helping you to live a calmer, more confident life.

When working with couples, my aim is to enable both of you to explore and understand your relationship, regardless of age, sexual orientation or gender identity. Whether you are having difficulties in your relationship, or want to know each other better, couples counselling can help you have a deeper understanding of yourself and your partner.

You may choose to see me for counselling or hypnotherapy, or between us we may decide that a combination of both therapies will help you the most. Please call, text or email me to arrange a free 30 minute initial consultation, so we can discuss what is troubling you, and how I can help.

I offer short term and longer term one-to-one counselling, couples counselling and hypnotherapy. We can discuss which is best for you either in our first session, or as the sessions progress. We will review how your therapy is going as we work together, so that you are involved in deciding how many sessions you have and when it is the right time for your therapy to come to an end.

"Thank you so much for all your help! It has been a useful journey for me as I believe I have developed the means of managing everyday life." CO'B, Counselling client

I am passionate about helping you find your inner self, connecting with your feelings and knowing and accepting who you are. Sometimes this can be difficult and I will be supporting you throughout this journey.

I am a fully qualified and insured Counsellor and Hypnotherapist and I use skills and techniques from several different counselling approaches, depending on your individual needs. Counselling is a talking therapy which offers a way for you to explore thoughts and feelings which you feel unable to share with anyone else. Talking through your difficulties can help you to understand painful thoughts and feelings, and can be the first step towards feeling more positive about yourself and your situation.

I offer a unique blend of counselling and hypnotherapy, and tailor my therapy to your individual needs. I run my private practice from home in my calm, comfortable and confidential therapy room, and I have experience in working with male and female clients of all ages.

I have DBS clearance - certificate # 001572906623 - and I have experience of working with children and young people. I am a registered member of the BACP, and the NCH, and I adhere to their ethical frameworks for good practice.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
