About me

Hi, I’m Nic, a qualified counsellor who understands how hard it can be to take the first step into counselling. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to be able to explore what you are feeling, as we work together to reflect and focus on the change that you are looking for.

I am a registered member of the BACP and NCS Accredited counsellor, which ensures I work safely and ethically with you.

Whether you are anxious, suffering from depression or are struggling with something within your life, I am here to help you find the tools to be the best version of yourself.

In our first session, we will look at how we can work together to suit your individual needs. You can call or email me and and we can discuss suitable time for our first session. This will also give you an opportunity to see if you want to continue working with me.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified integrative counsellor.

I work within a secondary school, volunteer at Basildon MIND and in private practice. I offer counselling to both adults and children.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
