I know life can be overwhelming at times and you may have been struggling for a longtime. Coming to see a counsellor for the first time can be a bit daunting but I can offer you a warm welcoming counselling space. We can work either face to face at my counselling room or if it suits you better I can offer telephone or Skype sessions.
How I can help you
My aim is to offer you a supportive, understanding and trustworthy place, where you feel comfortable and confident to be able to voice your thoughts, feelings and situation without the fear of being judged.
Together we can make sense of those worries and problems which maybe causing you difficulties and if appropriate for you, we can explore, create and discover choices and strategies to help you feel like your life is back on tracks.
At its best, therapy offers a resource for healing, growth and life long change.
I have a particular experience and knowledge of helping people with:

- Work based stress.
- Supporting Expats through the stresses of change and transition.
I have had over ten years experience in helping people deal with problems affecting their emotional & mental well being both as a counsellor, supervisor, holistic therapist & mindfulness teacher.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am fortunate to have been a counselling manager for a long established mental health and well-being charity in North Somerset.
I have previously provided counselling in a variety of different counselling settings, which include: adult learning centre, mental health agency, Employment Assistance Program (EAP) and for a generic counselling service.
I have provided supervision for counsellors which have worked in various agency settings which include, a drug and alcohol service provider, a counselling service for victims of domestic abuse,counsellors in private practice,students and for a mental health charity.
Core professional qualifications
- Advanced Accredited Diploma in Counselling Supervision. Post Graduate level 7.
- Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) level 5.
- Foundation Degree in Counselling. Bath Spa University
- Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) level 4.
- Advance Diploma in Counselling level 3.Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA)
- Mindfulness Now Teacher Training
I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and individual member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

£40.00 for 50 min for weekdays & evening sessions for individuals
I offer two space for trainees at a reduced cost of £35.00 per session.
Fees for Couples
£55.00 for 50 min for weekdays & evenings for couples
£70 for 90 mins.
