A lot of my work focuses on relationships, anger and anxiety issues. I work as an integrative Counsellor which means that I use different models, theories and techniques to support my service.
I work a lot with teenagers and young adults where we are able to discuss many issues in a way that helps the person move forward in their life with more confidence and with some strategies to support them through the difficult times.
I have been helpful with people of different ages who want to discuss existential issues, end of life, long term health issues, pain or fear of death. I work as an integrative Counsellor which means that I use different models, theories and techniques to support my service.I help people communicate better with each other in relationships and have been a mediator for some years supporting families to find solutions to difficult situations.
I help people to be heard. I provide a safe and supportive environment that is relaxed and comfortable as I work from home. Many people have commented that they find this helpful. People have often commented that they are able to discuss things with me that they haven't felt able to in the past.
I am happy to meet initially for a short 20 minute consultation to help you make a decision on committing to counselling sessions with me. I know it can be an anxious time looking for the right counsellor.
Please remember there is nothing too small or too big that can't be discussed and solutions or a way forward found.

I work a lot with young people. The work with young people is confidential and the young people decide if they would like a parent to be updated on our conversations. I will only share information with the presence and agreement of the young person. Some parents find that difficult.

Just email or call me whatever you find easiest. I am happy to chat about whether my service is helpful or not for your individual situation.
Our first meeting at my home will be an opportunity to discuss the reasons for seeking support and the chance to ask questions. We can decide how often we meet and what the aim of our meetings will be.
Sometimes we don't know what the problem is, just that we don't feel quite right or okay. That's absolutely fine and perfect for us to work on in our meetings. Sometimes people worry that their problems aren't important enough or big enough to discuss. If you feel unhappy, uncomfortable, not quite right, a bit down, fed up, then it's worth discussing and I look forward to meeting you!
