Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I hope to answer some of the questions you may have.

I am trained in Therapeutic Counselling and work in a Person Centred way. I have experience and training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ), solution focused therapy, mindfulness and hypnotherapy. My interest in counselling stems from being a Mental Health nurse for over 30 years, with many years of experience in working with people with a wide range of mental health related issues.

 I currently work with an extensive range of issues, which include generalised anxiety disorder, ADHD and ASD, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, stress, self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties and of course many other issues that we face in our every day lives.

I have specialised in the field of addiction and dual diagnosis. I offer both individual and couples therapy. 

I understand how daunting it may feel when making the decision to seek a counsellor and not knowing who may be the 'right' one? Sometimes that decision may just be a gut feeling?

I would welcome your call or email to ask me anything that may help you to decide if you'd like to make a time to meet and offer a free initial telephone consultation. 

I work from my home address and offer a comfortable and relaxed environment, but if you prefer either telephone or online therapy I can offer this.

There is no pressure or expectation about having to commit to a further session, perhaps just view our first meeting as an opportunity to see if we both feel we could work together.
