Registered / Accredited

UK Council for Psychotherapy
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Many clients ask about anger management when they contact me. Whilst I recognise that some people may struggle to manage their angry feelings, often they have very good reason for feeling angry. I believe that the main task of anger management is often to recognise and acknowledge our authentic anger, identify the ways we are expressing this which we, or others may find difficult or distressing and then learn how and when it is appropriate to affect the changes necessary in both ourselves and our situation.
My first training (B.A.) was in Creative Arts with a specialism in Creativity in Health and as an aid to Wellbeing, This allowed me to develop experience and skills in the creative art therapies and I am able to use many creative techniques in my work with individuals and groups.I have also offer training therapy and clinical supervision to trainees on Art Psychotherapy courses.
I have a full Sandplay resource in my office and offer Jungian Sandplay Therapy sessions.
